Price increase for Grivory G Products

On September 1, 2006 a 300 EUR/tonne price increase will become effective for all Grivory G Speciality Polyamides from EMS-GRIVORY sold in the EMEA region.

This measure is made necessary by continuous and major increases in the cost of chemical raw materials used in the manufacturing of Grivory G products.

EMS-GRIVORY has a constant focus on reducing its production costs as well as on increasing productivity through continuous improvement programs. However, these measures are not sufficient to compensate for the recent substantial cost increases in raw materials and energy.

Grivory G products from EMS-GRIVORY are amorphous Polyamides widely used in rigid and flexible packaging applications. They are highly transparent and provide su-perior oxygen and aroma barrier, especially in humid environments.
