EMS: Start-up of the TEGRA biomass power station

On November 30, 2005, EMS announced that it would be investing some 40 million Swiss francs this year in improvements to its site Domat/Ems (GR) in Switzerland. To strengthen the site, flexible annual working time was introduced at the beginning of 2006 and the regular working week increased to 43 hours. EMS is now taking innovative steps concerning the energy supply at its largest site. A press conference was held this morning on the occasion of the start-up of Switzerland's first industrially operational biomass power station.
