In addition to a range of opaque reinforced specialty materials, EMS-GRIVORY has developed transparent Grilamid TR HT 200 for this kind of application. This material is characterized by crystal-clear transparency, high mechanical strength, toughness and exceptional resistance to chemicals. It withstands several hundred cycles of steam sterilization at 134 °C.
Antimicrobial specialties from EMS-GRIVORY are particularly suitable for surfaces and components that are frequently touched by many people. They reduce bacterial growth by 99% in accordance with the JIS Z 2801 standard.
