On the occasion of the general meeting of shareholders of EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG, Domat/Ems, held on 18 August 2001, approval was granted to all motions tabled by the board of directors. The 349 attending shareholders represented 729'042 registered shares and 244'419 bearer shares, corresponding to 88,1 % of all share votes.
