What is CAMPUS?

CAMPUS is the most widely known data bank for engineering plastics. CAMPUS stands for 'Computer Aided Material Preselection by Uniform Standards'.

Nearly all the most important raw materials manufacturers are presented in this material information system.

What can CAMPUS do?

CAMPUS helps you make a preselection of types of plastic material from a wide range, especially for your specific application.

Along with a short description of each product you are provided with data about the following property groups:

  • mechanical
  • thermal
  • electrical
  • processing
  • optical
  • other properties
  • Behaviour under external influences

This data is available as single point and multi point (graphs). Using the additional software MCBase it is possible to make a direct comparison of CAMPUS data from different manufacturers.
