Key Account Manager / New Business Development – Water Management; Agriculture and Food

Position located in Sumter, South Carolina, USA.

Responsible in the development and commercialization of new projects and manage existing Key Accounts in the Water Management; Agriculture and Food Market of EMS-GRIVORY America. Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM and Tier 1 level suppliers to this market. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Key Account Management and New Business Development for the Industrial and Consumer Market of EMS-GRIVORY America.  This position will be primarily focused on the North America Market, focusing on major End-Users and key Tier 1 decision makers and technology leaders in this market.
• Identify and manage new Accounts in Industrial and Consumer segments (I.e.: Water Management; Energy; EE/Telecom; Agriculture Food Management; Home goods; Automation; Recreation & Sport Management; Transportation non-auto; Do it Yourself Tools).
• Assists in the establishment of Marketing Concept for the Industrial and Consumer, and segment/s assigned, long-term business plans, 3-Year Plans and 1-Year Plans.
• Establish Sales Project List/Project Pipeline as the basis for growth of the End-Users and their supply chain. 
• Responsibility to implement and achieve the Sales Plans.
• Controls the appropriate budget

Education and/or Experience:

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 or more years' experience in Sales and marketing Development position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Market and industry knowledge of the Industiral and Consumer key segments
• Opening new accounts through prospecting and networking
• Negotiate and resolve issues related to Sales and/or Marketing
• Develop and maintain action plans for segment to reach targets
• Provide reports to management including Sales Call Reports, Monthly Reports, New Business Opportunity Reports and Annual Budget

Travel up to 70%. Ability to communicate in German, a plus.
