Wide variety of specialty polyamides for electro-technology

From cable ties to charging plugs, from housings to power switches, specialty polyamides from EMS-GRIVORY are used in a wide spectrum of applications in the electro and electronics sector.

Maximum reliability is combined here with good electrical and mechanical material properties as well as approvals according to conventional industrial standards.

Numerous innovative long-fiber reinforced, flame protected and high-temperature grades allow our customers to develop front-row products with regard to the global trends of miniaturisation, increased performance and higher productivity. Bio-based, electrically or thermally conductive grades as well as those modified for laser printing are also available.

Various high-temperature materials, compatible with valid EU directives (WEEE, RoHs) are also provided for use in lead-free soldering processes.

As recyclable alternatives to thermosets for applications in the field of energy distribution / switching stations, new low tracking index materials with or without flame protection are also on offer.

The excellent abrasion resistance of our products enables them to be used successfully for many years as protective pipes for cables in rail transport systems. In particular, external connections between rail wagons must ensure complex movement is possible for a long time and under extreme climatic temperatures.

Our customers always benefit when special solutions are required for cable applications. Here as well, polyamides can provide advantages with regard to mechanical, chemical or thermal resistance. Examples are glass-fiber and high-voltage cables which require protection from termite damage over decades of use.

Experienced experts in our application development provide you with technical support in the implementation of your ideas from the design phase right through to serial production.
